Innovation Park is not a generic office-park website, and Trail Mix Creative treated it like the placemaking and leasing tool it needed to be. The current site positions the property as a Class-A office campus on IBM Drive in University City, Charlotte, built around connectivity, wellness, efficiency, and collaboration. That gave us a very different design and development brief than a standard real estate site. The build needed to market space, communicate lifestyle, showcase infrastructure, and help prospective tenants understand the campus as a fully activated workplace environment.
One of the most distinctive pieces of the project is the custom-developed map experience. Trail Mix Creative built a dynamic “Charlotte Map” module with a full-width slide-out sidebar that lets users explore nearby retail and services, food and beverage, entertainment, parks and greenspaces, and hotels. With pinch-to-zoom interactions and category-based discovery, the feature turns a simple location section into an immersive neighborhood-exploration tool. That is exactly the kind of custom functionality that elevates a commercial property site from static brochureware to a genuinely useful digital leasing asset.
The rest of the site reinforces that same level of intention. Wellness content highlights fitness centers, walking trails, disc golf, bike rentals, and ongoing classes. Amenity and services sections call out meeting space, food and drink, EV charging, sundries, and day-saving conveniences like dry cleaning drop-off and car detailing. The infrastructure section adds another layer of credibility by spotlighting fiber connectivity, telecom readiness, and the IBM-built central utility plant, while the site plan and brochure/PDF downloads support brokers, decision-makers, and internal stakeholders who need more than high-level marketing copy.
