Paths to Presence was not a website build for Trail Mix Creative, and that is exactly what makes it such a strong branding case study. Trail Mix Creative was brought in to create the logo and brand kit for a practice centered on Enneagram coaching, teaching, and spiritual growth, so the work had to carry emotional depth before a single page of collateral was ever designed. The goal was to create a mark and visual system that felt contemplative, intelligent, and grounded without drifting into generic wellness aesthetics. What came out of the process was a brand identity with real symbolism, real strategy, and real staying power.
The current site explains the logo as a labyrinth with nine entry points representing the nine Enneagram types, three openings near the center that reference the centers of intelligence, and a central flame-and-moon icon inside a circle of wholeness that points toward Presence, Essence, and the True Self. That is the kind of conceptual foundation Trail Mix Creative loves: not decorative design, but meaningful design. We translated a nuanced philosophy into a visual identity that feels sacred, memorable, and flexible enough to live everywhere from a homepage masthead to workshop slides, intake documents, and future print collateral.
Strategically, this project shows how brand design can quietly shape the entire customer experience. The visual language now supports service offers around Enneagram typing consultations, one-on-one coaching, group teaching, self-awareness, compassion, and personal transformation. Even though Trail Mix Creative did not build the site itself, the brand kit clearly gave the business a cohesive center of gravity and a more confident public presence. It is easy to imagine the identity scaling into social templates, email headers, speaking materials, lead magnets, retreat collateral, and long-term content marketing.
For the Trail Mix Creative portfolio, Paths to Presence demonstrates that our design expertise starts upstream. We know how to build logos and identity systems for coaches, consultants, spiritual directors, faith-adjacent brands, and service businesses that need more than a pretty mark. This project is a clean example of strategic logo design, visual storytelling, and brand development done with intention and craft.
